• Coach and manage a cohort of novice teachers spanning 1st through 12th grade, all content areas, across the city, to be strong classroom teacher leaders that work in partnership with their students, parents, and school communities to achieve ambitious academic goals• Design and implement coaching cycles grounded in adult learning principles to support corps members in identifying the needs of their students based on data analysis to drive student progress to goals and address gaps in their learning• Design and facilitate professional development for adult learners focused on data-driven instruction and practices, culturally relevant pedagogy, developing a vision and theory of change, teaching to core practices, creating and establishing a productive learning environment, effective classroom management, and cultivating emotional resilience in early career teachers• Collaborate on regional team initiatives, such as designing curriculum and facilitating professional development sessions for the Inaugural Detroit Summer Learning Institute for incoming corps members who gained teaching experience through an intensive six-week free summer enrichment program servicing students from across the city of Detroit • Develop and strengthen school partnerships across the city of Detroit • Compile and analyze student achievement data reports from iReady, NWEA/MAP, Achieve3000, and PSAT/SAT assessments to track student growth and attainment in order to facilitate data conversations for strategic planning of prioritized teacher actions to drive toward the desired impact on student outcomes• Create and build community and relationships among our corps members and alumni in Detroit. Beginning of year culture survey contributed to a 38% increase in our overall results from the previous year, leading to the highest culture survey results, and highest retention rate, in region’s history

Lead a team of six staff members consisting of three leadership coaches, a content facilitator, a diversity, equity and inclusion facilitator, and an operations manager to drive toward ambitious outcomes for the 40 corps members within our learning community over the course of five weeks of virtual training within the larger virtual summer teacher training model supporting nearly 3,000 incoming corps members across the country•Design and implement learning community professional development sessions for over 40 corps members to build community among novice teachers while developing their understanding and practice of teacher leadership, and commitment to culturally responsive teaching and diversity, equity and inclusion.• Partner with content facilitator and diversity, equity and inclusion facilitators to co-facilitate sessions and provide support in planning session outcomes in response to corps member trends across the learning community • Co-observe corps member spaces and provide feedback for leadership coaches in regard to ongoing corps member coaching and high-leverage strategies to improve corps member development • Design and implement corps member improvement plans in collaboration with leadership coaches for corps members found to be off-track in programmatic requirements to ensure their retention and successful completion of virtual summer teacher training• Design and facilitate weekly team meetings regarding managing toward end of VSTT outcomes, in which trends in weekly data were analyzed across our learning community and next steps were established for team members to address gaps toward our outcomes
