*Part of a team, sought out by the Coca-Cola Foundation that developed the curriculum for Camp Coca-Cola, a nationwide camp based program for high potential teens from risk-filled environments. (This program is now known as the C5 Youth Foundation.)*Oversaw management of budgets over 1.5 million dollars.*Oversaw day-to-day operations of a 300 acre, 200 + person capacity, residential camp facility.*Supervised 5 department directors including the summer camping, education and hospitality programs, and maintenance/housekeeping and kitchen departments.*Designed and implemented curriculum. *Recruited, hired and trained staff.*Implemented professional development training.*Managed relations with partner agencies including St Louis area school districts, the Departments of Children and Family Services in both Illinois and Missouri, area children’s homes, etc.*Developed relations with area children’s service agencies to recruit new campers.*Assisted agency’s development department in fund raising, seeking new grant opportunities and grant management and reporting.*Designed and facilitated after school programs.*Facilitated team building and adventure based programs for people aged 12 to 60+.*Revamped the seasonal staff recruitment system, including increasing internships.

*Part of the inception of this camp, serving children impacted by HIV/Aids. *Worked with a medical team in developing and implementing the program serving children ages 5-19. Over the six years I worked directly with the camp, developed and revised programs based on best practices for serving the children based on their medical and psycho-social needs. *As the assistant camp director, assisted in overhauling the staff recruitment and training program. *Designed the boating, fishing, and swimming instruction. *Took part in fund raising efforts to meet a million plus dollar budget. *Coordinated the relocation of entire camp program to rented sites around the country before the camp purchased its own site in 1999.
