Provided marketing support at a dealership level in conjunction with working with the state marketing team to carry out events and promotions.This role involved developing, implementing, monitoring and reviewing marketing strategies across the business. Activities include e-marketing, retail sales events, direct mail campaigns, database marketing, press advertising, and internet advertising.

Assisting in planning, briefing, stakeholder management, executing, and post implementation review of business critical marketing and public relations projects under the supervision and signoff of the Marketing & Membership Director. Projects included: drafting media releases, assistance with writing marketing copy, assistance with roll out of the new website, social media management across multiple platforms (Facebook, Twitter), analysing and clarifying the role of public relations within the organisation, developing internal communication documents. Required stakeholder management, high degree of communication, attention to detail and creativity.

Worked closely with the Business Development team to manage and execute campaign media for key national accounts. Clients included McDonald's, Hoyts, STA Travel, RAC WA, Video Ezy, and Retravision.Responsibilities: client liaison, social media management, assisting with new proposals, developing insertion orders, scheduling media including email campaigns, sponsored social media updates, SMS, direct mail. This position involved a high degree of communication, organisation and team work.

My strong work ethic and positive attitude throughout my internship resulted in a permanent role being offered by Student Edge.

Duties involved: Administrative tasks, supervising small groups of children, covering lessons for staff absence, contributions to extra- curricular life. Required excellent time management, strong communication skills and flexibility.
