I am an aspiring Registered Nurse, at McMaster in the Accelerated Nursing program. I was a volunteer and Placement Student at McMaster University PACE gaining hands on experience assisting clients through exercise and stretching programs, performing transfers for clients, and assisting modality sessions using the ZeroG overground gait training technology. I have previously worked at ArcelorMittal Dofasco’s COVID-19 pop-up vaccination clinic which opened in June 2021 and closed in August 2021. Here I gained experience checking in patrons for their vaccination, guiding them to a Physician, and distributing prepared vaccines to each Physician from the nurses station. I am a Varsity Student Athlete on the McMaster Women’s Water Polo team. I committed to 5 practices per week this year (2024) as well a scheduled games, and travelling for 3 weekend tournaments while continuing my studies.
