I supported global expansion of digital e-commerce shipping with UPS

I supported the Digital Access Program on the eCommerce Strategy team. This included marketing and communications as well as developing and implementing billing and support solutions for our partners.

As a specialist, I was responsible for 15+ monthly revenue management and conducted ad-hoc reports. I produced slides for the Investor Relation and Business Planning decks based on the reports. These included several views of revenue and volume by country or product, well as international trade lane highlights. I also supplied required data for new systems initiatives and coordinated with regions for implementation. One example was creating base data for building and deploying Quick Quote (a faster pricing tool) in Canada, Mexico, Belgium and Malaysia. From there, I supported countries in creating a pricing strategy for Quick Quote by analyzing current bid templates and manipulating the base data. This involved conducting Quick Quote testing in the systems for the four countries and providing feedback from myself and the regions to systems for improvement. I also prepared country self-audit data and supported country teams through the procedure.

During my summer internship, I assessed Denmark’s published rates and zoning strategy in order to implement a new set of rates to better drive profitable growth and enable more targeted pricing. This included performed SWOT and cost analyses to gain insights into UPS’s position in the Danish logistics market. I consulted with the Nordics Revenue Management team to create ideal operation ratios for the new zones based on findings.

Frau Tonis Parfum is a perfumery located near Checkpoint Charlie in Mitte, Berlin. During my summer internship, I created and managed cooperations with fashion designers and Public Relations agencies for Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week Berlin shows and events. I also developed relations and creative content with bloggers to promote brand awareness via social media which increased the brand's following by over 150%.

While studying abroad at the University of Paderborn, I worked as a Teaching Assistant in the English department. This included supporting professors with courses and with scholar and student conferences. I also created the English Theater and Improv student group.
