First year student currently enrolled in the Masters of Occupational Therapy Program at Cleveland State University. Through my undergraduate study of health sciences,I have completed rigorous courses in health sciences, psychology, and gerontology such as Human Gross Anatomy where the opportunity to work with human cadavers not only gave me thorough insight into understanding the complex structure and mechanics of the authentic human body, but also a driving desire to integrate this knowledge into a deeper knowledge of muscle mechanics behind fine and gross motor skills involved in activities of daily living. Have shadowed certified OTS in various settings to diverse populations. Intent on pursuing further experience in the OT field and creative exploration of OT evaluation and treatment methods in multiple settings.
