Working on mobile MRI scanners at sites across the UK. Performing contrast and non-contrast exams using the Siemens platform.

Role and responsibilities included performing contrast and non-contrast examinations using Siemens scanners at a busy district general hospital.

Out of hours radiographer based in x-ray. Duties included going to theatre, carrying out CT head examinations, dealing with patients from ED and carrying out mobiles on the wards.

Full time radiographer with duties including working in general x-ray, carrying out mobile and providing imaging for fluoroscopy injection lists (Philips C-Arm) and pacemaker insertions (Philips Pulsera & Veradius). Demonstrable experience in carrying out QA of Carestream DRX mobiles. Occasionally required to provide theatre imaging for trauma and orthopaedics (Arcadis Varic). Providing support, supervision and mentoring to students, less experienced members of staff and new starters as and when required.

Demonstrable experience of CR and DR examinations performed for ward patients, ED referrals, GP patients, fracture clinics and paediatrics. Skills in dental radiography, mobile radiography, theatre radiography (orthopaedics and urology) and fluoroscopy (barium swallows, MR arthrograms, screening and set up for for ERCPs [Philips C-Arm]). Role also included student supervision, carrying out QA on theatre, mobile and fixed x-ray equipment in addition to CR readers. Regular user of IEP. Worked on a shift rota which included weekend and night duties in addition to lone working (nights).

Duties included taking part in full shift rota for x-ray department, providing theatre imaging (including injection lists, urology and trauma and orthopaedics); mobile imaging; CR imaging for fracture clinic, ED referrals, ward patients and GP referrals. Demonstrable skills in dental imaging.

Worked in a major trauma centre using Carestream and Philips DR equipment in addition to some CR equipment. Rotations included working in ED with adults and paediatrics; inpatients; outpatients; theatre radiography and mobiles (including NICU).
