As a development leader and former reporter, my roots in relationship management and journalism guide my professional approach today. I offer deep experience in building, expanding and sustaining impactful relationships and programs.At RMI, I'm a liaison between foundations and the Institute. I foster strategic partnerships across the philanthropic space to accelerate a just clean energy transition and deepen RMI’s capacity for impact, working closely with the Institute's programmatic team.Operating at the intersection of environmental nonprofit and tech startup, I previously led development and external affairs as a founding team member building and shaping the vision for an international nonprofit that powered a platform designed to amplify collaborative climate action. Prior to pivoting into climate-focused work, I led regional development efforts for a human services-centered nonprofit. In my seven years in the position, I oversaw 10 field offices and surpassed increasing annual goals. I built networks of diverse collaborators to make measurable impacts for underserved communities. Before my career transition into nonprofit, I was a television and radio broadcast journalist.
