In addition to the duties performed as an Associate, my additional responsibilities in a Senior Associate role include the following:-Mentor, train, oversee, and review work of intern and staff associate.-Manage intern and staff associate workload to maximize utilization and value-adding work to clients.-Develop and maintain up-to-date training materials and resources for newly hired employees.-Assist with writing and reviewing expert reports.-Research professional standards and widely-used industry texts to develop economic damage calculations, review industry-specific data and statistics, and applicable rules and regulations.

-Provide forensic accounting services to civil and criminal litigation and independent accounting investigations.-Review produced discovery documents, depositions, interrogatories, and pleadings.-Perform analyses of financial data and evaluate alleged economic damage claims. -Prepare calculations and exhibits to be used in expert reports.

As the business owner of RKE Accounting, I manage the bookkeeping and accounting of three clients (two in the graphic design industry and one being a pediatric clinic). While my role for each client is unique to the needs of the individual businesses, my services include, but are not limited to, monthly bookkeeping using Quickbooks Desktop and Quickbooks Online, preparing financial statements, performing analyses to advise on strategic business decisions, calculating estimated tax payment amounts, assisting with preparing county, state, and federal business forms (upon the request of the client), and assisting with organizing and maintaining business expense records.

-Performed desk reviews and field examinations of Medicaid cost reports to verify compliance with state and federal reporting standards. Managed documentation requests, communications with engagement contacts, completed approximately 40 attestation engagements, and worked on an audit team to perform approximately 15 field examination attestation engagements during fiscal year 2018. -Worked in partnership with project leadership to develop and regularly update project templates to increase accuracy and efficiency of engagement procedures.-Completed procedures related to reporting of revenue, review of employee compensation, analysis of insurance policies, invoice testing, posting trial balance adjustments, and preparing adjustment reports.-Executed on-site unannounced audits for the Child and Adult Care Food Program (“CACFP”) to verify program compliance and investigate potential program misuse.-Served on the activities committee to develop a positive firm culture.

-Tutored students in lower-level accounting courses: Principles of Accounting I & II, Cost Accounting I, and Intermediate Accounting I.-Coordinated with university faculty to promote attendence of tutoring sessions.

-Imported bank feeds, sorted and journalized data, and reconciled bank accounts monthly.-Managed payroll and all accompanying payroll taxes of thirteen clients.-Maintained responsibility for all company filing, organization, and digitization of client documents.-Prepared individual state and federal tax returns using Intuit ProConnect software.
