PGT was acquired by MITER Brands in March 2024. The combined company now serving over 10,000 team members domestically from coast to coast, and India. My role continues to support all Employee Relations, Talent Acquisition, Talent Management, and Talent Development.

*Lead this growing company’s human resources division and its 5,500+ employees. Manage 5 departmental leaders with up to 75 total employees on the HR team. Valued member of the senior leadership team.*Present key HR performance results to senior colleagues along with recommendationsbased on business needs.*Established many new policies and processes and brought HR Technology in-house with a first-ever HR technology team that provides consistent data for employee analytics and critical decision making.*Lead HR team through 6 acquisitions over the last 5 years. Leveraged best practices from previous roles to establish onboarding and culture alignment initiatives to all employees; ensuring one cohesive team.*Redesigned organizational job titles and compensation bands that better align with market analyses.*Continue to oversee the management of compensation plans including deferred compensation.

*Facilitated relationship building with recently combined sister organization, MasterLock, union leader and Plant leader while also shifting HR culture throughout the organization.*Recruited and hired experienced Plant Manager with competencies that support culture. *Coached and developed HR leaders to support career growth.*Implemented consistent policies and procedures while collaborating with union leaders to focus on skill upgrading in the technical trades.*Prepared HR and Plant Leaders for contract negotiations.

*Promoted to Fortune Brands’ largest business unit to manage a team of four HR Business Unit Partners/Directors; supporting a larger, collective HR team of 100.*Oversaw the complex HR management for 10K+ employees across 20 non-union and union manufacturing facilities as well as corporate sourcing and logistics. *Created and presented manufacturing HR and organizational development results and recommendations once per quarter to MBCI senior leadership.*Successfully convinced the company to invest in a multi-million-dollar starting wage in Indiana that improved retention and KPI performance; ROI was realized in less than a year.*Led a 2-year pilot project that streamlined facility workflows, maintained productive cultures, and reduced turnover by more than 76% to single digits (industry average is ~25%). This initiative was implemented in every other division and is still in place today.

Corporate Director of Human Resources (Oct 2013 – Feb 2016)*Corporate level business partner for multiple business units throughout the U.S., China, and Mexico.*Presented, recommended, and implemented organizational effectiveness strategies and other key HR initiatives in ongoing leadership meetings.*Integrated Simonton Windows employees. Recalibrated workflows and right-sized the manufacturing facilities that eliminated employee burnout, significant reduced turnover, and boosted employee morale.*Lead the succession planning for the operations teams; providing the employees with even more options for internal mobility.Human Resources Manager (Mar 2005 – May 2013)*Managed a 5-member HR team for up to 1500-person facility.*Collaborated with the plant general managers and built strong performance cultures, attracted andretained incremental top-notch talent, and provided development opportunities for high performers.*Facilitated and led the annual Positive Associate Relations (PAR) training to all managers and supervisors in manufacturing operations that provided training about professionally and respectfully handling many workplace issues and employee concerns to remain union-free.
