Currently splitting my time between managing 125 acres of land as as an environmental land management / rewilding project and being a mum. I have a very keen interest in addressing the biodiversity crisis and climate change through practical action to advise policy. See @sunartfields on Instagram and Twitter for our updates.Founded and now part time run an app called Aroundsound, available on iOS and Android, that helps people collect, revisit and share experiences using sound. Built and worked with an amazing team of people to do this and I use the product daily along with hundreds of users around the globe.Prior to that I was part of the senior leadership at Skyscanner. During my 7 years at Skyscanner the company grew from 50 people in a single office to close to 1000 people located all over the world, and grew x40 in valuation. As first Product Director, I established and led the Product team for 3 years during which time we moved from a flights only search into a travel search product. I then moved into Strategy & Business Operations, working on transforming Marketing into an automated and lean-start-up Growth engine and running the team that built the financial / growth model for the business. I was part of the acquisition of Skyscanner by CTrip in December 2016.I joined Skyscanner after selling Zoombu, the company I co-founded and developed, to Skyscanner in late 2010. Zoombu was a Seedcamp company and winner of the Oxford SBS Venture Fund investment. Before starting Zoombu and joining Skyscanner, I was a Management Consultant at Diamond Management and Technology Consultants (now part of PWC), working in telecoms, financial services and retail clients in the UK, Middle East and Belgium. Immediately afer graduating I spent a year working for Oxford Capital Partners (Venture Capital) as an Analyst.I graduated from Oxford University with a First Class degree in Engineering Science, having completed my Masters year at Princeton University, USA, under a selective scholarship programme. I achieved straight A/A* grades at A-Level and GSCE from a comprehensive school.I am a keen fell runner and cyclist and I'm proud to have won the Tour of Malta stage race in 2012 and been the third female over the line in the Etape du Tour in the same year (before children I had more time to train!).Specialties: Land Management, Business Strategy & Operations, Product Management, Information Technology, Venture Capital, Start-up Ventures, Entrepreneurship, Travel Technology, Road Cycling.

I was reluctant to leave and agonised about staying but ultimately the big city was calling and I wanted to gain experience with larger organisations, so I left to join the world of management consulting.
