As a Logistics Support Specialist, Rachel communicated with customers, carriers, and brokers to ensure shipments arrived in a timely manner. During her time at TQL, Rachel created the Guided Shadowing program to enhance training of incoming support specialists. This program included several weeks of daily programming with instructions for implementation.

As a graduate student assistant (GSA), Rachel taught undergraduate lab sessions for over 700 students over two semesters. She was part of the first group of graduate student assistants in the Biology and Chemistry department. Rachel created and helped to implement a leadership system to improve the quality of GSA-led classes. She served as one of the first head graduate student assistants.
