• Established recruitment strategy and execute full cycle recruiting to identify and select top talent a wide variety of departments. • Performed comprehensive searches for qualified job candidates using tools such as LinkedIn Recruiter, Indeed, and employee referrals as well as engaging external recruitment agencies as needed. • Established solid partnerships with hiring leaders by creating trust, managing and communicating expectations, priority management and delivering results. • Conducted candidate interviews to evaluate knowledge, skills and abilities compared to job requirements, departmental and organizational needs and provide recommendations to hiring leader. • Consistently provided excellent candidate experience throughout the recruitment process, including understanding candidate needs/interests, providing accurate position information, educating candidates on the brand, providing timely feedback, as well as maintaining the highest level of discretion to ensure confidentiality of internal and external candidate data and business information.• Performed monthly reporting of applicant tracking system (ATS) to monitor Corporate and Restaurant recruitment metrics. Regularly provided feedback on talent acquisition process, tools and engagements to department leadership and recommends opportunities for improvement. • Partnered with internal HR and Talent Acquisition partners, ATS and background check vendors to implement new applicant tracking and on-boarding system to streamline Corporate and Restaurant application and new hire processes. • Facilitated weekly staff requisition update meetings with Talent Acquisition and Compensation teams to remain apprised of all recruitment activity for all open corporate and field positions. • Led weekly New Hire Orientation and coordinate regular Total Rewards Orientations to ensure the success of corporate new hires during their first week of employment.

• Established recruitment strategy and executed full cycle recruiting to identify and select top talent.• Managed careers website for both Jack in the Box and Qdoba and serve as liaison between talent acquisition team and media vendor partners to ensure systems and tools are being managed and optimized appropriately. • Spearheaded career website revamp project alongside media partner for both brands. Project responsibilities included providing overall vision/direction, revising sitemap & wire frames, collaborating with PR team to update copy deck, compiling creative assets, completing Alpha & Beta reviews, approving design proofs, partnering with Marketing & IT teams on redirection from former to new URLs, and monitoring website post-launch to troubleshoot issues. Project goal was to provide job seekers with more visually appealing, user-friendly and streamlined experience. New sites resulted in new users and decreased time due to reduction in pages. • Led the implementation and ongoing management of new social media recruiting pilot across both brands. Collaborated with media vendor partners and internal marketing department to roll out campaign targeting restaurant-level candidates to build applicant pipeline and brand awareness.• Generate ad-hoc monthly reporting from various databases to assess applicant volume and determine activity levels by hiring managers for Jack in the Box and Qdoba restaurants.

• Responsible for coordinating recruitment activities, including phone screens, onsite interviews, candidate travel, and debrief meetings by working directly with candidates, talent acquisition advisers, and hiring managers.• Provided a positive candidate experience throughout the recruitment process by being an active liaison between company and candidate. • Conducted full cycle recruiting for corporate positions, including facilitating intake meetings, job postings, candidate sourcing, phone and onsite interviews, debrief meetings, and preparation/presentation of the offer letter. • Managed the new hire process for both Jack in the Box and Qdoba brands, including pre-hiring, distributing new hire packets, background checks, and reference checks. • Facilitated new hire orientation on a weekly basis. Maintained and updated the orientation program to ensure the presented content is accurate and comprehensive, as well as engaging. • Managed Employee Referral Program for both corporate and restaurant positions.

• Led activities for twenty one interns across both brands. Facilitated monthly intern round tables, designed to foster communication amongst all interns to share and discuss their overall experience. Planned and executed an intern luncheon with C-level executives. Scheduled multiple department tours and LinkedIn workshops that greatly enhanced the experience.• Conducted full-cycle recruiting effort for 2014 internship program. Responsible for both Jack in the Box Corporate Support Center and Jack in the Box Innovation Center opportunities in San Diego.• Managed and created content for the Jack in the Box Careers Facebook page. Posted content using Hootsuite. Launched and led the “Meet Our Interns” campaign, exploring the “intern experience” at Jack in the Box Inc. and Qdoba Mexican Eats. • Worked closely with Senior Corporate Recruiter and received hands-on exposure to mid-level, full time corporate requirements. Performed resume review and participated in first round phone screens and on-site interviews. Leveraged challenging opportunities to independently source qualified candidates and contribute first pass resume evaluation. • Received increasing responsibilities tied to creative sourcing techniques to pursue passive candidates. • Participated on the Social Media Team, along with individuals representing various departments in the organization. This team was assembled to discuss and focus on news, trends, and the company’s overall presence in the social media space.

• Coordinated project planning with HR leadership for the Jack in the Box Connect 2 Careers event. This annual event was dedicated to informing and encouraging high school students to enter the workforce. This event produced thirty two restaurant level hires out of the seventy participants that completed the workshop.• Created and designed layout for the Manager Competency Cohort team site. Assigned monthly maintenance tasks that I completed independently. This tool allowed management to track and share self-development and goals via SharePoint / corporate portal.• Partnered with the Talent Development Team in creating standardized New Hire On-Boarding tools and processes.• Assisted the Director of Human Resources to create and complete presentations for 360° feedback (“Voices”). Accessed sensitive, confidential information and prepared presentations for the Executive Leadership Team. Lominger was the licensed tool used in this project.• Interviewed former Jack in the Box interns to take a deep dive into their internship experience. The overall objective for this project was to assess the positive impact of the program as it relates to their career aspirations or achievements.• Modified intern recruitment brochure and co-edited intern recruitment video with the Director of Video Communications.
