Change order consisted of combining six 134-module barracks into two 402-module, “Best in Breed” barracks, establishing the new standard for future barrack construction for Camp Lejeune. Change order included revised building configuration, upgraded finishes and enlarged rooms and lobby for BEQs; enlarged road and bridge design; building relocation and site re-design to accommodate reconfigured building structures and enlarged roadway around wetlands. • Acted as liaison for cost control, functionality and product preferences during finishes and furniture selection meetings with owner, end-user and architect. • Developed a Construction Administration Handbook of standard operating procedures for bid proposals, subcontractor mobilization, on-site safety, quality control, change orders and invoicing for the Wallace Creek Phase 2 jobsite.• Attended Southern Association of College and Business Officers (SACUBO) conference and two Military/Federal Construction (MILCON/FEDCON) summits building new relationships and extending network of contacts and industry leaders.• Solicited, analyzed and assembled bid proposals in pursuit of a new construction, design-build USMC Air Hanger project.
