As a People Business Partner at Shakespeare Martineau, I provide generalist people related advice and support to employees and partners within the firm’s Real Estate Group across seven offices. I am the first point of contact for all HR enquiries and policy queries. I have the responsibility of dealing with all aspects of HR including employee relations, performance management, employee engagement, recruitment, training etc. I undertake projects and support strategy changes across the Real Estate Group and firm wide. Real Estate is the largest legal group within the firm, comprising of over 200 staff across a broad range of specialisms including Commercial and Residential Property, Islamic Finance, Social Housing, Education, Energy, and Logistics. My HR career has been based solely within the professional services sector and I have built a strong foundation within the profession through previous HR roles at Wragge & Co and Wesleyan Financial Services. This experience I believe enhances the professional HR knowledge I have built and developed at Shakespeare Martineau.I have a BSc Human Resources and Psychology degree from Keele University and am CIPD qualified.
