I'm currently a fourth-year student at the University of Florida pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Applied Physiology and Kinesiology on the pre-physical therapy track. I am inspired to go into physical therapy for a number of reasons. One of the most captivating is my experience of being treated by a PT in the hospital when I was severely burned. This later turned into an opportunity to shadow her and my interest in PT heightened significantly. I am an avid learner, mentor, and lover of meeting new people, traveling, exploring cultures and new places, and challenging myself. I make it my goal every day to talk to as many people as possible, make people feel included in all my endeavors, and maintain a positive attitude. I am a firm believer in the phrase "you get out what you put in" and all my involvements reflect my passions. I value the little things in life that can empower one another, sincere compassion and empathy, and upholding myself to a standard of high civility and morale.
