Raised in Colorado, I grew up outdoors and obsessed with living things. In college at Notre Dame, I realized my passion for protecting the earth I love, and pursued a Master's in Energy Conservation at Columbia University. And now, at Lockheed Martin Space, the passion for our Earth has extended to a respect for all that may exist beyond our atmosphere. I believe exploration of the galaxy is our responsibility: vital to understanding our own planet in order to better protect it, and the next step in human evolution. I am driven by the potential of what else may exist beyond our current reach, and I'm privileged to contribute to that mission each day with Lockheed Martin Space.

Began work on a device to measure direction and speed of groundwater flow.
