• Duties and Responsibilities:
• Handles 9 associates and directly reporting to the General Accounting Manager
• Manage the functional processes for North America such as Retail Accounting, Corporate Reporting and Accounting, Consolidation and Reporting, and Plant Accounting by leading the General Accounting Team including.
• Performs ongoing operational analysis and prepare appropriate recommendations and reports for management. Assists in reviewing month-end reports and reconciliations

• Responsible for successfully migrating the process of Account Receivable/Cash Management function with the following duties and responsibilities:
• Prepared manual GL postings and related journal support
• Performed cash clearing to clear day’s payments and their associated invoices.
• Prepared daily retail banking to ensure sales from all 500+ Goodyear retail stores are recorded and deposited accurately and timely.
• Performed timely responses to all retail stores and ensures deposit issues are resolved and reconciled.
• Assisted and provided guidance to retail stores regarding accounting treatment, issue resolution, journal tickets, and other processes.

• GSAP SME/Super User:o First point of contact: End to End process of Credit Card Financeo In-charge of handling the GSAP migration for Credit Card Financeo Assigned Trainer for the “to-be” process in GSAPo Confirmation.
• Daily reconciliation and review of card issuer confirmation to credit card reports from gross sales to cash payments.
• Verify supplemental ledgers to support accounting reconciliation sheets.
• Out-of balance identification/resolution. Card issuer payment verification, fee calculations plus chargeback/tax exemption balancing.
• Month end voucher preparation and posting to SAP/GSAP of General Ledger account adjustments.
