On top of it all, she help to institute the “Cross-Charge Challenge,” where interns and co-ops were put into groups and challenged to research and design a marketing plan for a new market opportunity that Pentair was not currently pursuing. All the groups then presented to a panel of judges from each department and were graded accordingly. Rae’s dedication and leadership of Pentair’s internship program is a major reason why it is one of the most innovative and well-rounded.
