About Rachel Huber
I have worked in surgery as a tech, first asst. and a RN. I then wanted a different experience and decided to work at a long-term care facility as a NOC nurse and then 1 year as the MDS coordinator. My alma mater reached out when they were starting a new program at the technical college and asked me to join their. In January I accepted my dream job as the Surgical Technology program director and instructor for the new program. I am excited to blazing the path for this program in southwest Wisconsin. Education is important and healthcare is ever changing which is why I am committed to continuing my own education and those I teach. I can apply many surgical wound dressings, help apply casts/splints. I am Davinci robot trained. I can help anastomos bowel, prep grafts and many other items.
