Through capacity building, evaluation, and strategy development, LFA’s consulting services help social sector organizations effectively design, implement, and improve strategies to achieve their desired impact. As part of the consulting team, I managed the implementation of projects from start to finish and act as the primary contact for clients. I managed a diverse portfolio of projects, including leadership development, reproductive health, justice, and rights, economic security, and community development. As a result of my work with clients, organizations have: revised their mental health initiative strategy to align with current nonprofit partner needs; adapted leadership development programs to be more effective for new executives and movement-level leaders; developed a DEI grantmaking strategy based on learning from pilot grants; communicated the long-term impact of core programs on the individual-, organizational-, and movement-levels to core stakeholders; and aligned evaluation and learning plans with new strategic initiatives.

ProSocial (formerly Cause & Affect) is a strategy consulting and management firm in the business of high-impact social change: using innovative, media-based, multiplatform campaigns to shape breakthrough public engagement on a wide variety of issues, such as health, education, the environment and human rights.

Managed social media, wrote blogs, and facilitated business development strategies. Assisted with grant writing and other client work.

Facilitated grant and report writing and editing and with the development of an income generation program. Conducted international donor research. Developed strategies for capacity-building.

Coordinated Forum for Choice 2010, including researching venues and contacting over 100 co-sponsors, on a weekly basis. Assisted with the management of grassroots efforts around health care reform, including conducting over 100 cold calls to NARAL members and fieldwork to collect health care reform petition signatures.

Conducted research for District Office staff and the senator. Managed constituent casework and worked with a myriad of state agencies on a weekly basis.

Created teen program at arts center serving over 450 low income families. Planned teen programming and social activities. Helped oversee 11 summer teen interns. Taught dance and art lessons weekly to over 25 children. Managed front desk duties, greeted clients and volunteers, made phone calls, and monitored students daily.

AVODAH places young people in full-time work at anti-poverty organizations in Chicago, New Orleans, New York, and Washington, DC. This work partners Corps members with service providers and residents in low income communities and equips our Corps members and alumni to emerge as lifelong agents for social change, whose work for justice is rooted in and nourished by Jewish values.
