The world of programming fascinates me. During my three years working as an administrative assistant in an elementary school, I discovered my passion for software development. I felt that my methodical mind and attention to detail would be perfect for a future career in programming. This led me to enrol in an intensive programming course - and I haven’t stopped learning since! I love the thrill of seeing the blocks of code come together into a functional, user-friendly product. The communication skills I honed in my previous position will surely prove effective with both clients and work colleagues in any future work environment. Throughout my work experiences in teaching, administration and web development, I have been successful as both a team player and an independent worker. As well, my strong self-discipline and focus have led me to excel in my current position as a web developer. Computer programming is both fun and fulfilling for me! I am targeting an opportunity within my chosen field that will challenge me and allow me to use my education, skills and past experiences in a way that is mutually beneficial to both myself and my employer and allow for future growth and advancement. I am passionate about writing top notch quality code and producing software that makes users happy.
