Author of children's books that help adults navigate challenging, yet important, life events and develop social-emotional skills through story. Also, author of educator resources that build whole-child, high quality early learning.

Using my experience as a military mom and spouse and education professional, I authored a series of military deployment journals: Deployment Journal for Kids, Deployment Journal for Spouses, Deployment Journal for Parents.

Published in family and trade magazines, national speaking engagements, and podcast contributor on topics related to child development, resilience, early learning, adult learning, and social-emotional development.

Worked with clients to develop customized education & training solutions and products, such as quality assessment tools, curriculum, and training programs. Clients include MN Dept. of Human Services, Council on Accreditation, Redleaf Press, DBM, Eager-to-Learn, and Community Playthings.
