Human Resources Generalist
Current- Address general HR-related inquiries across various functional areas, providing timely resolutions or escalating complex matters to appropriate specialists.- Conduct and process exit interviews: Ensure smooth offboarding by gathering employee feedback, identifying trends, and reporting actionable insights to leadership.- Administer educational assistance programs: Manage the Bank's Tuition Assistance and Scholarship Award programs, including application review, approvals, and communication with employees.- Manage regulatory and compliance reporting: Oversee Affirmative Action Plans, VETS-4212 filings, and EEOC reports to ensure compliance with federal and state regulations.- Support internal communications: Assist with creating and distributing employee communications related to HR policies, programs, and organizational updates, fostering transparency and engagement.- Review disciplinary documentation: Conduct an initial assessment of Notice of Disciplinary Action forms, ensuring accuracy and consistency before further review.- Plan and execute employee relations initiatives: Lead or assist with key events, such as blood drives, United Way campaigns, Employee Appreciation Week, and holiday gift programs, promoting a positive workplace culture.- Represent the organization in unemployment matters: Attend unemployment hearings and respond to claims, providing accurate and comprehensive information to protect the Bank’s interests.- Administer recognition initiatives to celebrate employee achievements and enhance morale across the organization.
