I am a focused specialist in digital accessibility and performant front-end web engineering.I am the Lead Digital Accessibility Developer for the University of Rochester in Rochester, New York. WPCampus is an organization run 100% by volunteers. I managed the operational budget and a support team of volunteers. I chaired five in-person conferences and five online conferences. I administered an active Slack workspace and engineered a network of organizational websites.Through WPCampus, I advocated for, organized, and raised $32,000 for the only accessibility audit ever performed on the core WordPress content management system. I chaired a community working group that designed, implemented, and led our organization’s transition toward a new governance model.
