Established Flings & Things in 2014 as a provider of Highland Dancers and traditional Scottish entertainment for large-scale corporate events, private functions and festivals. Since then have choreographed, directed and led performances atglobal events and festivals, including the BaselTattoo (2022 & 2019) 6 Nations Internationals(2013, 2014, 2021 & 2022), the Solheim Cup(2019), New York Tartan Week, Beijing InternationalTourism Festival, Glasgow 2014 CommonwealthGames, Glasgow 2018 European Championships,and Muse World Tour (Glasgow performance) 2016. Highlights include: • Dance Director for 2022 Basel Tattoo, managing team of 50 dancers and creating 5 choreographed performances of traditional and modern highland dance• Co-Dance Director 2019 Basel Tattoo, collaborating with OzScot Australia and CanCelt Highland Dance teams• Working with Scotland’s largest entertainment agencies to provide bespoke entertainment solutions for corporate functions and events throughout the UK• In 2015 launched 'Flings & Things on Tour' Workshop Series - delivering workshops for competitive dancers, coaches and parents all over Scotland; partnering with lecturers from national sporting institutions to deliver Professional Development sessions and enhanced training sessions • Managed and choreographed dance troupe for Scottish international touring act Red Hot Chilli Pipers, providing performers for UK, European and US tours since 2013

Responsible for Comic Relief’s portfolio of Celebrity Broadcast Challenges and event based fundraising activity, developing and executing broadcast and event fundraising strategy for annual national campaigns - Red Nose Day and Sport Relief. This encompassed broadcast challenge events featuring well known celebrity talent and live entertainment events, most delivered in partnership with the BBC. Over 6 campaigns I managed broadcast events and challenges from inception to delivery which have generated over £13million in public fundraising income.Specifics of the role included:- Developing and implementing event strategy for specific campaigns, working with Broadcast, Media, Partnerships, Audience & Data Insights, Marketing and Talent Management teams to propose, develop and manage delivery of activity which met fundraising income and organisational strategic objectives- Managing relationships with BBC partners, working with commissioners, show runners and production teams to develop, commission and produce challenge and event activity for BBC broadcast- Managing supplier and delivery partner relationships from procurement through to event delivery and debrief- Forecasting and developing core operational and event budgets, adhering to strict parameters whilst generating significant return on investment- Leading production teams, logistics agencies, project managers, content producers, talent, media and creative leads, and both permanent and freelance staff in the planning and delivery of UK and international events- Risk and issue management, and safeguarding of event participants and staff- Introducing strategic planning working groups and operational delivery reviews - Development of robust budget and income management, tracking and analysis - Development and implementation of event management and delivery toolkit, embedding project management best practice- Introduction of improved operational safeguarding practices around events
