About Rachel Hafner, Msc

My name is Rachel, and I am a future clinical psychologist. I am passionate about being the change I want to see in the world and finding creative solutions to difficult problems. My goal is to conduct research that will widen the current knowledge base on how to best help those struggling with mental health issues live to their fullest potential, with particular interest in how one's mentalization abilities affect their mental health. I also love assessing and working with individuals, and have a particular clinical interest in child/adolescent neuropsychology. In Fall 2023, I began working towards my Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology at Fairleigh Dickinson University.I am a driven, hard-working person who loves to take on challenges. I thrive in situations where I am given a good amount of guidance, but free to come up with creative solutions to different tasks. I love taking on projects, for which I will take ownership and see they are done in the most effective and efficient way possible. A team player, I strive to help my peers shine. At my core, I am an optimist with a versatile skill set; I see the possibilities in tough situations and find creative solutions to make things work.
