Appleton, Cheshire

Joined GHG as partner in 2004 and incorporated a design service into the offer. Over 12 years I worked both full and part time as lead designer. Working on many prestigious projects, many for high net worth clients from business and the media we created a impressive portfolio and reputation in the area. The design division of the business now operates under the trading name Rachel Moore Design Limited

Regional Office, Warrington.

Full time position in the North West Interior Design Service. I worked alongside 4 regional designers. Work involved creating schemes, mood boards and estimates for new and returning clients. I would also deal with all the subsequent orders and deliveries through to completion. Client liaison, negotiation.

Yorkshire / London Offices

Full time position as Features Writer and Designer. My role involved working simultaneously across five monthly magazines aimed at the fashion trade industry. Meeting tight deadlines and working under pressure, I created and fulfilled briefs for the editorial pages which varied from fashion and interior trend predictions to industry news. I directed photo shoots, regularly visited trade shows, exhibitions and launches in the UK and overseas. During my time at RAS I successfully fulfilled my initial brief, which was to revamp the content and look of the fashion and interior pages. My work resulted in excellent feedback from my editors, our readers and industry contacts. Leaving in 2001 to relocate back to Cheshire.

Altrincham

12 month contract as Fashion / Interior Design Consultant. I worked with five full time staff to launch the lifestyle magazine in October 1998. Initiated new contacts with local and worldwide businesses / press offices to obtain editorial and promotional material. Created and implemented editorial briefs which included writing copy and directing photo shoots. As part of a small team I had significant input into the marketing and PR strategies of the new business, which included mail shots, advertising, sponsorship events, POS material and awareness campaigns.
