Led a sports for development organization that uses football to empower girls and young women at. MTG brings girls together in a safe space where they can play football, organize their own activities, become leaders and where they can discuss issues that matter for girls growing up in Kilifi and Kwale County, Kenya.

Deputizing the CEO while also overseeing the day to day management of the institution, and its relations with government Ministries, Department and Agencies and ensuring participation by members in various sector boards at decision making levels with a view of ensuring that the National Business Agenda objectives are being met.

Curating public private dialogues through through the Ministerial Stakeholder Forums, and round tables with the 3 arms of government through the Presidential Round Table, the Speakers Round Tables and the Chief Justice Round Table.

Charged with the launch, oversight and implementation of the Program on Sexual Violence in Conflict Zones in Kenya which worked to build the capacity of government to tackle sexual violence cases. Programming included training on effective trial advocacy, forensic evidence collection and preservation and network building.

Carried out research on areas of work of the International Justice Program such as the International Criminal Court, judicial systems in countries of interest and innovative solutions to national and international justice problems.

Supported technical assistance programs designed to strengthen Kenya’s justice sector infrastructure; a substantial portion of the program was undertaken as part of Women’s Justice Empowerment Initiative. Carried out legal research and wrote briefs explaining Kenyan law on various subjects of interest and assisted the Resident Legal Advisor and Embassy personnel to assess Kenya’s existing legal institutions, legislation and policy

Managed the Law Society Continuing Legal Education Program with duties including conceptualization of program content, planning and execution of training seminars including accounting for payments. Managed the Human Rights and Publications Program including working with the Editorial Board of the LSK Journal and the editor of the LSK Newsletter. This has also included preparation of proposals for funding to various donors including Ford foundation, CIDA, American Bar Association, Electoral Commission of Kenya among others.

I provided support to the Program Officers in dealing with Standing Committees of the Law Society and supported the Continuous Legal Education program.
