I have spent 19 years relentlessly committed to improving the conditions of public education for diverse student populations. I have managed multi-million dollar budgets, and supervised 50+ staff, remediating those who were not meeting organizational expectations. I have worked with teams to create plans based on root cause analyses which deliver on desired outcomes, and networked with outside organizations to increase resources for my community. I have extensive experience designing data-driven initiatives and programs, monitoring and adjusting them as necessary to best meet the special needs of those I serve. I have refined my competencies for successful distributive leadership and talent management to develop the human resources within the organization. Through my schooling, ongoing professional development, and personal inquiry, I have extensive knowledge about sensitive issues such as trauma, poverty, race, language, and immigration. I care deeply about advocating for marginalized groups through critical interrogations of systems and outcomes, followed up by honest conversations about lack of performance and needs for improvement.I have much to offer on organization. Reciprocally, I am looking for an environment that fosters creative thinking, searches for improvement while maintaining its core values, and centralizes the needs of the community we serve.
