Rachel Puri is the co-founder and CEO of Lina, an organization dedicated to supporting independent health practitioners by providing a platform for them to launch, grow, and operate their practices.With over 15 years of experience in healthcare, Rachel focuses on enhancing patient care and empowering practitioners.Rachel began her career in mental health, gaining an understanding of the importance of patient-centered care. She then transitioned to critical care nursing, working on telemetry units at Saint Francis Health System and Mount Sinai West Hospital. These roles improved her clinical skills and provided insights into the operational challenges faced by healthcare providers.In 2017, Rachel co-founded Lina to address the increasing trend of healthcare consolidation, which often pushes practitioners into large hospital systems, resulting in the loss of autonomy and contributing to burnout. Lina offers an alternative by managing business operations while allowing healthcare providers to maintain control over their practices. This approach enhances the quality of care while reducing costs for patients.Rachel holds a Bachelor's degree in Psychology from Hunter College, a Master's degree in International Affairs from The New School, and a BSN from New York University.
