Rachel Rae Dyer is the president and owner of Smart Not Fancy, LLC. She has a depth of experience in leadership and consulting. Prior to joining the Fairmont State Foundation team, Rae founded This Place, a successful Business Services and Consulting company in Fairmont, WV. Rae is an MBA graduate from WVU. Previously, she graduated Summa Cum Laude with a B.S. in Accounting and certificate in Human Resources Management, from Linfield College, and Cum Laude with a B.A. in Theater, with a focus in Education from Hiram College. Rae is a USAF veteran, and has completed the Entrepreneurial Bootcamp for Veterans, conducted by Syracuse University, through the University of Missouri. She currently serves as President of the board for Choose West Virginia, as a board member for CASA of Marion County, and as an advisory board member for Learning Options, Inc. Rae believes in continuous improvement both personally and professionally, and conducts business on the principles of integrity, honesty, and service to others.
