Introduced and trained the planning team on MIPLAN (Qlik) in November 2018 to help mitigate stock out risk and begin to use as “Leading Indicator” metric. Reduced line interruptions and improved material delivery, which saved $111K in MI for 2019.Re-organized the planning team to incorporate 2 team leads to help provide growth within team and help veteran planners share and push best practices. Goal is to reduce turnover on team.Implemented a KPI for Container deliveries in March and so far reduced storage charges from 84 containers to 0 containers as we are picking up from the rail. Savings calculated to be about $600K per year.Worked with Corporate Logistics team and 3PL to improve truck appointment schedule to reduce delivery delays from suppliers.
