At Arabella I work with clients to help them define their philanthropic goals and strategies, make data informed decisions about supporting grantees, and understand the impact they're having with their grant-making portfolio. I have worked with a variety of clients including small family foundations, donor collaboratives, individual donors, corporate foundations, and institutional foundations.

Nest is a non-profit organization that empowers female artists and artisans around the world. Using a unique combination of interest free microloans, business and financial education and training program, and a market in which to sell their crafts, it helps its loan recipients create successful small businesses. Nest’s unique micro-bartering approach and commitment to ethical sourcing allow it to act as collaborators with women artisans rather than as simply consumers or importers. At Nest, I managed the monitoring and evaluation of its loan and business development programs. I also analyzed the data collected through the evaluation work which informed our strategic planning process. In addition, I managed the summer fellows program, business curriculum development, and grant applications.

As GPF reached its 10th anniversary, I designed and implemented a constituent survey that guided the organization's strategic planning process. I also contributed to a project to map the global philanthropy landscape.

Assisted in teaching undergraduate and graduate courses at Cornell including Introduction to Sociology, Social Stratification, Theories of Society, Global Conflict and Terrorism, GIS, and Quantitative Research Methods.

Conducted research on the Social Determinants of Health and Schooling Inequalities in Cameroon for Professors Tom Hirschl and Parfait Eloundou-Enyegue.
