About Rachel Rizk

Apart from a stint of waitressing back in my university days, I have never experienced the daily grind in my professional life. I think the Dalai Lama was spot on in defining the meaning of life as being happy and useful. For me this means going to work with a smile and at the end of the day feeling satisfied that in some way I have made the world a little brighter. My passion is to communicate clearly, concisely and from the heart. Over the past 20 years I have worked in the government, education and not-for-profit sectors. No matter the medium – websites, e-newsletters, promotional material, social media, media releases, trade journal articles, annual reports or speech notes – I write to progress organisational objectives and maximise audience engagement. When I'm not at work I'm busy instilling the values of happiness and usefulness upon my children – a major, lifelong project. Check back in 10 years' time to see how I'm doing! If you're a passionate communicator and would like to discuss innovative ways of communicating to stir hearts, please drop me a line.A sample of my work can be found at: https://www.clippings.me/rachelrizk
