Created digital illustrations and graphics for major publishers of educational materials, as well as corporate and educational testing materials. Acted as lead artist and developed art styles and content for first edition science textbooks and digital firsts. Created bid estimates for new jobs.Coordinated with Project Managers & Art Director to manage schedules for multiple ongoing projects. Processed files for print. Repurposed digital art files for subsequent print editions and made adjustments to files based on printers’ press reports to meet quality control standards. Created sketches from undeveloped manuscript for review by clients. Collaborated with editors, authors, and clients through multiple passes to develop a consistent and pedagogically appropriate art program for first edition textbooks. Performed proofreading of first pass art, and assistedproject team or other lead artists with in-house reviews for accuracy. Developed static and interactive sample illustrations (using Hype) for promotional use. Clients included W.H. Freeman, Oxford University Press, Pearson/Addison Wesley-Benjamin Cummings, National Geographic,W.W. Norton, Cengage, Sinauer, and Wiley & Sons.

Created digital and traditional media illustrations for print and online. Developed and published website using Adobe Dreamweaver. Children’s book illustration from sketch to final render, in addition to graphic design. Clients included the Nature Conservancy, the journal Nature, Human Kinetics, and Mountain Press Publishing.
