The Conference features five 30 minute presentations from leading design professionals offering advice and inspiration. Students also have the opportunity to submit portfolios for Scholarship Competition Awards, and have their work reviewed by members of the CADC. The speaker presentations focus on the how the speakers got started in design, got their first job, advanced in their careers, skills that are in demand today, what inspires them, and types of work they and their firms create. This successful conference now in it's 20th year, draws students from from a variety of Connecticut colleges and universities including The University of Bridgeport, The Hartford Art School, Western Connecticut University, Southern Connecticut University, Norwalk Community College, and Sacred Heart University.
