In September 2024, I began serving as the Program Coordinator at Frontline Justice, where I will oversee critical initiatives that align with our mission to increase access to justice for underserved populations. My experience includes a role as Project and Finance Manager for the NC Equal Access to Justice Commission from January 2023 to September 2024, where I had the opportunity to lead projects and manage finances to support justice-related initiatives. Prior to that, I contracted as a project manager with the Commission starting in January 2021, and worked on statewide initiatives including the Driver's License Restoration Project, the Housing Stability Project, and the Wake County Legal Support Center.As the Founder of Royal Touch Legal & Business Solutions, LLC, d/b/a Royal Touch Project Solutions, I am dedicated to providing innovative project management and legal support services tailored to the needs of nonprofits and businesses. My journey as a business owner began in October 2020, when I established my company to help organizations streamline their operations and achieve their goals more effectively.I hold an Associate of Applied Science in Paralegal Technology from Carteret Community College, graduating with honors in May 2017 as the Paralegal Graduate of the Year. I furthered my education at Charter Oak State College, earning a Bachelor of Science in Legal Studies in May 2024. My paralegal experience spans family law, insurance defense, real property litigation, business law, and municipal law, providing me with a well-rounded legal background.In addition to my professional roles, I have been actively involved with the North Carolina Bar Association Paralegal Division, serving as Pro Bono Co-Chair from 2018 to 2023, a Council Member from 2018 to 2021, and Secretary for the 2021-2022 bar year. I am also a North Carolina Notary Public and Electronic Notary Public.In 2024, the North Carolina Bar Association named me the recipient of the Filling the Justice Gap Award for my contributions to the legal field through both my work and volunteer experience.
