Roseannah is an ethically sourced clothing company driven by style. We are motivated by a desire for fair trade in the fashion industry, forming partnerships with organisations that empower workers worldwide. Many of our partners work with communities in India and Africa to establish sustainable sources of income for marginalised individuals and those affected by tragedy. By collaborating with different organisations, these workers can learn to tailor and gain economic independence. Roseannah markets these products in the UK in order to provide workers with a sustainable income. Our goals are to raise awareness about trade ethics, to equip the consumer with the power to transform the lives of workers, and to provide customers with an ethical, elegant product.

After a series of trips to India and Africa in 2007, and experiencing firsthand the amount of poverty in these countries and a passion to see it eradicated, the Hearts Ablaze vision was birthed. Our aim is to partner with organisations that are empowering people around the world, to learn to tailor and gain economic independence. Selling their products—e.g. T-shirts—initially in the UK, in order to provide a sustainable income enabling them to look after themselves and their families, as well as facilitating the organisation to expand and open more centres, giving more people a hope and a future through the training of this trade. Creating awareness to people here in the UK buying the clothes, of the trading ethics and that they really are transforming lives worldwide.Another essential part of the Hearts Ablaze vision is to set up children’s homes/centres in these countries, for children who have had to endure tragic circumstances in their lives. These homes/centres will teach them that they can live their dreams. Rather than being labelled orphans/street children that they will know and understand that they are cherished sons and daughters, who have a purpose and destiny within their grasp.
