As of May 2024, I'm thrilled to join reDirect as their new Communications & Marketing Associate!reDirect is part think tank, part consultancy, part foundation. We collaborate with nonprofits to help them explore how they can better support the people they work with and serve. Our work, rooted in research in environmental psychology, demonstrates that people are at their best when their environments support their need to understand and explore; to feel capable; and to meaningfully participate. It’s from this research that reDirect’s framework was created: we call it Supportive Environments for Effectiveness, or SEE. Our goal is to share this framework with organizations so that we can bring out the best in the people powering our communities.

-Co-wrote and edited content for marketing proposals, design award packages, the company website, community outreach events, and design exhibits-Co-wrote and edited project narratives that helped our team win four industry design awards-Managed the company website: added new content and updated the site navigation and page designs-Managed marketing photography library-Designed layouts for proposals, reports, exhibit posters, and interview presentations

With a four-person team, designed two new condos above the historic C&C Paint building near the Ballard ship canal in Seattle. Drafted permit and construction drawings, built 3D models, and produced graphics

-Provided administrative support to the Architecture and Public Art Division to expand light rail service in Western Washington-Drafted and distributed meeting notes from cross-disciplinary design meetings-Managed three public art contracts: coordinated with contracts division, wrote bid listings, reviewed bids, awarded contracts, maintained records, reviewed samples and the final product

-Provided customer service in the office serving the Seattle Y's overnight camps at Camp Orkila and Camp Colman-Designed marketing materials for print following the Y brand style guide

As a graduate student at the College of Architecture and Environmental Design, I led an architectural design studio for undergraduates which included bi-weekly classes with individual desk critiques and collective design discussions.
