Designed and implemented the year-long program for aspiring teachers to achieve their goal of becoming certified educators. By completing the fellowship, and the ASPIRE program with DPS, fellows were able to gain their educator licensure with CDE• Designed an intensive 4 quarter rubric and extensive progress monitoring check points for fellows to demonstrate evidence of mastery during their year-long fellowship• Designed and delivered weekly professional development around best teaching practices to 8 Fellows and 4 teachers• Delivered real time and scheduled feedback, evaluations and modeling, with in-depth debriefs, to all 8 Fellows resulting in an 80% success rate of Fellows becoming licensed, employed teachers • Trained, coached and debriefed weekly with the 8 mentor teachers assigned to Fellows. • Managed, coached and evaluated 4 teachers resulting in an 18.5% increase in student achievement as measured by the ELA portion of the 2015/16 CMAS scores

Students consistently obtained high levels of achievement on all interim assessments. -7th grade World Studies Curriculum Specialist: responsible for creating state standards aligned assessments for 6 schools across the Strive Prep network; provided network teachers with sample lessons and suggested curricular timelines; lead professional development and training sessions, communicated weekly with the WS team to share best practices, give feedback and coach through classroom techniques.-Compensation & Evaluation Task Force (2012): active member of a 12 member task force responsible for overhauling STRIVE Prep’s teacher evaluation system and developed a competitive compensation plan that ties teacher performance to pay. Helped implement a completely new evaluation system and lead discussions on the compensation framework.- Cooperating Teacher for University Education Students: Mentored, coached and evaluated two student teachers from Metro State University and University of Denver. -Holds a Colorado Professional Teacher license
