Aliento Cuba brings hope and encouragement to people in Cuba through providing for the physical and spiritual needs. Working with Cuban nationals we determine the social and economic issues that are negatively impacting the community and strategize a program to alievate the need. Founding member of this organization that provides services for homeless individuals. Participated in 4-person team to develop a business plan. At the onset of the organization: I organized and managed operations to serve 200 visitors per month; recruited and scheduled volunteers to provide daily services; and networked with agencies to better serve our client base. Served as Secretary and later as Treasurer. Maintained the organization’s bookkeeping and accounting records. Produced quarterly reports for reimbursement from the City of Gilroy.

In my last position at Spansion I managed the University Recruiting Program. Researched and determined specific universities that would best meet our recruiting needs. Recruited company volunteers to participate in the program. Identified and interviewed candidates and followed them through to the conclusion of their candidacy.Previous to this position I recruited for all positions within the company.
