About Rachel Springall
My journey began when my best friend convinced me to take a communications technologies class in high school. In this class, I found my passion for digital media and was able to do projects in animation, graphics, video, audio and more. Since then I haven’t stopped wanting to learn more!Though my years at the University of Waterloo as a student and then an employee, I have developed many new skills and perfected others. I was able to do various roles and tasks in projects such as video production and editing, audio editing, graphic design, web and app design, UX design and research, prototyping, wire framing, personas and even learn a bit of HTML and CSS. I love collaboration and thrive in a team that is able to share their knowledge and push each other to grow their skills. I started my career in Technical Support in 2019. Through the years in technical support, I have found a love for investigation, troubleshooting and finding the root cause of issues. I love to resolve tough technical issues and share solutions with customers. In this career, you are always learning new things about the product and always have opportunities to learn more about supporting a digital product - something I deeply enjoy. I have been able to maintain high survey results and complete a high ticket volume.In 2020 I started my own small business. With Sundried Peach I hand make polymer clay earrings. I have learned about sourcing products, shipping practices, business finances, marketing, social media, customer service, forecasting and much much more. Constantly having the ability to try new things, learn and grow with this business is such a joy! I have passion and drive to learn new things and continue to perfect my skills and learn new ones as I go!
