I am an ambitious, proactive and tenacious advocate and law graduate with a passion for creating a more just, inclusive and equitable society. The breadth of my experience in the community sector reflects my dedication to justice, policy, systemic advocacy, capacity building and empowerment. Over the next ten years I see myself driving social equity initiatives and influencing climate change action through strategic policy and advocacy work.I have developed skills in legal research and policy analysis, individual advocacy, trauma-informed practice, stakeholder engagement and management, project delivery, operations management, procurement, public speaking, mentorship and volunteer management. I have extensive experience working in both small and large teams, autonomously managing projects and caseloads, and communicating complex concepts to a broad range of audiences in plain English.I am highly interested in systemic advocacy and government policy, climate change and sustainability, human rights, and diversity and inclusion. I value strategic and practical problem-solving with broad stakeholder consultation to incorporate a diverse range of perspectives in order to ensure well-balanced and effective decision-making. I establish rapport quickly with people from different backgrounds and have an outstanding ability to work collaboratively whilst remaining calm in high pressure situations.
