• Control of all instrumentation maintenance activities• Management of complete overhaul of all instrumentation and control systems on two 3.3 MW reciprocating gas compressors and associated equipment • Redevelopment of Control Software GE Fanuc (LM90-70) for a 5.3 MW turbine and multi stage pump for water injection.• Designed, installed and commissioned with the Instrumentation team new control valves to automate the process on water injection.• Redeveloped with the supplier in New York State USA the HMI using TC2000Plus and tested the interface at the supplier’s premises in the USA.• Continually guide and mentor Instrumentation personnel in the control systems at the five production facilities where numerous PLC’s and control equipment is used for oil production and transportation.• Ensure the safe working environment of the instrumentation personnel by administering the permits to work and liaising with other departments during equipment repairs and overhauls.• A key member in the team designated to develop the maintenance strategies according to recognised RCM (Reliability Centred Maintenance) methods and provided guidance as to the history of equipment to maximise the maintenance.• Appointed by management to serve as a focal point for evaluation of all instrumentation requirements for upgrading existing facilities, by advising on P&ID’s equipment selection and HAZOP exercises
