action/2015 is a global campaign being organized by 1600 organisations from more than 140 countries aiming to remove poverty, inequalities and climate change. This campaign was announced by Malala Yousafzai while she accepted her Nobel Peace prize and 31 Nobel laureates, actors and politicians including Bill Gates, and actors like Aamir Khan etc signed an open letter to all world leaders asking them for real change post 2015.I was working as a National Campaign Coordinator, tasked with strategizing and implementing the activities of action/2015 in India, while liaising with, various coalition members including UN agencies, international and national NGOs and grassroot level organizations. I oversaw most of the activities of the coalition with a keen focus on - central communications, digital marketing and over all campaign strategy and media outreach.My main aim was to conceptualize the Indian activities of the campaign while keeping in mind the global guidelines and passing policy relevant information to various government officials.Acted as a Co-Chair for the mobilizations around the UN General Assembly, I co-drafted a plan of action, which was implemented before the UNGA (September '15) in 100+ countries

I was a part of the core team which was responsible for conceptualizing, designing and delivering a fundraising event #CycleforMSF 2014 in India - an all-inclusive charity bicycle ride in New Delhi. Lead the planning of various event peripherals, orchestrating multiple activities simultaneously like:- budgets, delivery time-lines, project requirements and managing MSF’s expectations etc. Managed all the processes including manpower allocation, briefing and training the volunteers/internal staff about the event/processes.Ensured coordination between all event partners and vendors while ensuring high quality as per the requirements and within decreasing timelines.I personally took the initiative of partnering with 2 sponsors for the event.Delhi Dynamos Football Club: Their key players were present at the event & were available for the online promotions through videos/pictures and free event giveaways. Firefox Bikes: A leading name in the Indian bicycling circuit partnered with us for online promotions and provided various essential event day services.

I was responsible for a smooth and successful execution of all ongoing events at my stadium during the games. My core tasks were to oversee and observe the venue teams while managing planning/implementation of all venue management activities including security, catering, DRS, sport operation, medal ceremonies, spectator services etc. Communicated and coordinated among all departments/ FA's to meet various deadlines for completing time-sensitive tasks/duties.Followed up with all venue teams members to resolve or escalate issues by creating a tracking mechanism, which was very helpful to the senior management.

I was a part of the central team which was assigned the task of ensuring the readiness of 24 competition and 32 training venues prior to the commencement of the games, in addition to, co-ordinating with the respective venue teams.At the operations centre, I liaised with all the concerned departments , including venue overlays, security, sport, ceremonies, finance, HR/Admin to ensure all the tasks were being carried out uniformly towards making the event a success. I prepared a daily report recording the milestones achieved at a venue level. This report was shared daily with the senior management, including the secretary general and the chairman of CWG 2010.During the games I supported the venue teams and ran operations at the Opening/Closing ceremonies focussing on, athlete load-in, load-out and overall management of the 7000+ athletes and officials present during the ceremonies. I also provided essential support to the road races team, which included a marathon, a cycling and race-walk event in the heart of New Delhi.
