I am a scientist-turned-entrepreneur with a passion for applied sciences. With an education in microbiology, I've turned it into a passion for resolving larger problems affecting humankind due to infectious diseases in the areas of food, water, and health. Infectious infections are ranked third among the top ten causes of death in humans. Climate change, worldwide travel, and the rise of antibiotic-resistant organisms (super bugs) hasten this threat and our efforts to reduce infectious diseases. MicroGO believes that the "One-Health" approach to balancing and promoting human, animal, and environmental health connects these concerns. I founded MicroGO with a purpose that we must emphasise the One Health approach, particularly the prevention aspect, and use hygiene and infection control as means of addressing future issues related to FOOD SAFETY & SECURITY and antimicrobial resistance (AMR).
