Carrier España offers me to join its team as IT Manager two years after I implemented for them the BaaN software for their HVAC factory in Spain.Due to a change in corporate strategies, the factory was sold and the company change its profile from a full manufacturing & engineering to order company to a distribution & after-sales company.During this years, we have made a significant number of changes in simplify the inners part of the company system without sacrificying the final outcome of our work.As a small summary, this were some of the initiatives done:EDI system for working with major retailers.Call Center IP (40 agents).Renew all existing communications network to modern standards.Renewal of the ERP & CRM company systems including Y2K and EURO adaptations.Regional Datacenter relocation.Create and Maintain all the Disaster Recovery Strategies for the company.Improving collection performance.Unifying invoices processes.Participate in regional strategies definition related to ERP and business systems.Implement the regional part of corporate projects (outsourcing, global mailing, networks, etc).

I was hired as Production Consultant help and reorganize some ongoing implementations in 1995.After that I expanded the focus to practically all the other operational areas inside the ERP product except Finance where the company has a skilled team. This included sales, logistics, inventory, procurement, planning, and after-sales management. Also I become one of the company experts in EIS. Then, I was assigned to act as Project Director for ERP implementations.I worked out customer projects in:- Automotive - Shipbuilding- Industrial Equipment- Military- Distribution, Retails & Points of Sale.

Hired by Jenbacher directly from Austria to make a transition in the replacement of the existing dealer in Spain to an own sales organisation.Responsibilities include supervise progress in on-going installations and create new agreements for introducing the company in areas in which was not present.

Commisioned by INDUNARES with the idea of starting the implementation of an Integrated Management System.Finally for financial restrictions the project was sttoped and I was assigned to act as project manager for two fishing ships for scandinavian owners and help with the other buildings in the shipyard (mainly two towing ships for Wijsmuller).

Commercial Engineer. Prepare quotations & tenders for shipbuilding equipments packages to be offered by INDUNARES using financing provided by ICO or FOCOEX. Packages prepared and sent to Argentina, Venezuela, Irán, México and Angola.Assigned to team to prepare a predesign of an Integrated System for controlling production & design, based either on existing commercial ERP´s (Baan, SAP, etc) and custom solutions like Jonathan Corp in Norfolk USA. to be integrated with specific naval CADs like FORAN from SENER or TRIBON from Kockums. Initial shipyard proposed to be implemented was C.N. Santodomingo, Project finally not carried out for financial restrictions.

Constructive Details for a bulbous bow for a bulkcarrier ship.Financing calculations for invoicing oil-carrier ship during hiperinflation process.Create basic design for missile speedboat to be offered by the shipyard.Basic Design for floating dock and access gateways to be attached to the San Antonio Oeste harbour. Calculation by finite elements of the access gateways to the floating dock.

Producing VHS tapes for local distribution.Improving operating procedures for making simultaneous copyings of different films at lower capacities.

Propose Hidrodynamic variants for waterlines configuration for a bulk carrier (Polish Owner) being built at Astilleros RIO Santiago - AFNE.Renewal of the towing equipment & create a home made CAD system for drawing waterlines using b-splines.
