CurrentResponsible for initiatives aimed at creating or recreating FortisBC's services for gas customers including, investments in Cleantech (ie GHG emission reduction) and natural gas product innovation, Renewable Natural Gas (RNG) service offerings, connection policies, and management reporting on company metrics. Focus on continuously enhancing value to customers, within a regulated and policy sensitive context.• Cleantech Innovation: Responsible for investments in natural gas cleantech in collaboration with the Natural Gas Innovation Fund and other major Canadian gas utilities. Investing in startup companies to accelerate technology innovation and commercialization, primarily in renewable gases (RNG and Hydrogen), carbon capture, and energy efficiency. Managed investments in over 30 innovative startup companies. Project screening, applicant proposal evaluations, applicant pitch sessions and Q&A, and peer group discussions with investment partners. • Renewable Natural Gas: Responsible for managing customer demand for FortisBC's RNG program. Ensuring that RNG demand and supply are aligned while encouraging continued growth in customer enrollment. Developing service offerings to suite various customers types, while accounting for government regulations. Extensive work to obtain approvals from the regulator (BCUC), including primary responsibility for the development and elaboration of regulatory applications, and responding to regulator and intervener queries.• Natural Gas Product Innovation: Responsible for FortisBC's natural gas appliance innovation pilots including intake, evaluation and investments in projects such as customer scale carbon capture (CleanO2) and micro combined heat and power.• Policies and Gas Programs: Maintained, clarified and updated various customer policies and metrics to better suit new customers. Proposed, sought and obtained approval for an enhanced customer connection fund to assist new customers facing abnormally high costs to connect
