Served as a member of the administrative team to develop and implement the entire school program. Supported the development of teaching staff by providing data driven instructional strategies. Communicated and carried our established policies as well as disseminated policies to students, staff, and parents, and the community. Developed and presented staff development related to the Continuous Improvement Process and Differentiation for various departments. Implemented and Lead the AVID (Advancement Via Individual Determination) program for the 2014-2015 school year.

Served as sole assistant principal and lead administrator over 1:1 Initiative implementation (E-Learning). Implemented student orientation and registration activities. Provided direction to staff in implementing goals and objectives and meets with staff to assist in their development. Served on the district level "Closing the Achievement Gap" committee, working with the superintendent, Chief Academic Officer, Central Office personnel, and other building level administrators to make progress on goals set by the committee to decrease the disparity of achievement between white and minority students. Worked with an Educational Leadership class at Duke University, participated yearly with the class by speaking with students and sharing experiences with them from an administrator's perspective.

Lead administrator for 8th grade teachers and students. Served as a public liaison for the Duke University partnership and the community at large. Assisted with Advanced Learner Facilitator duties and carried out maintenance on the Advanced Learner files. Supported the principal in developing innovative programs designed to improve the curriculum and instructional strategies. Assisted the principal and staff in analyzing and using assessment data to develop instructional improvement plans to improve the curriculum.
